monkey see monkey do! Monday, November 13, 2006 2:17 PM
today zach came up and told my mom and i that there were monkeys at the back gate!
not one but a handful.
what shocking news.
he told me that...
when he was walking towards the bridge,
he got a fright from a shadow -
a monkey's shadow.
i could simply picture that image right away.
LOL.
a good thing he's brave enough to walk towards the gate.
cus' i wouldn't dare do so.

bishan park has monkeys,
and a whole lot of them.
just a few months back, my mom and i walked through the park...
to spot ten over monkeys treating the pathway as their home.
they were loitering in the middle of the paths,
hanging on the tress above us,
and chewing on scraps at the curbs and bushes.
all were staring intently at us.
and somehow, the both of us were using a brolly to protect ourselves.
i felt as though we were afraid of creatures
that were supposed to be scared of us.
indeed a funny experience.
