it's so true that those who load tonnes of pictures onto their blogs get much visitors,
but i wouldn't think i'd be in that majority anytime soon.
but of course i'd love to share anything i feel is approriate enough.

let's talk about Zach and my enticing gastronome on Saturday.

i wouldn't say i come from a wealthy family,
and i guess we don't frequent swanky restaurants.
and so i didn't think i'd like being in a place like
Ristorante Bologna in Marina Mandarin Hotel because it was too peaceful.

but we still ended up in there because the
International Buffet over at AquaMarine was 58+++per pax.
precisely.
that triple plus is deadly enough to kill.

but when it came to Ristorante Bologna's gourmet and service,
i loved it.
He had the Wine and Clams Linguine
while I had the Fresh Pappardelle with Prawns.
the service was too much for me to take.
gazillion times better than anyone who says, "Enjoy your meal!"
just imagine.
you never need to get 'em to refill your glasses.

amazing.
and for Dessert?
Puffs and Chocolate Sauce.
positioned beside us,
they decorated the plate of puffs with Mango and Strawberry Sauce,
and warmed the hot chocolate till it turned into a whopping lip-smacking sauce.

that chocolate was heaven.
i was calm enough not to lick the entire plate.

and so the bill totaled to $78.
more than we expected,
cus little did we know that bottle of Panna Water right there on our table would cost us $10.

well,
we really had some pricey still water for a saturday.
but i guess they probably couldn't help it -
i did a little research and you see,
it's from Italy and established decades ago,
in Tuscany, where water was first discovered.

okay. enough said about Panna Water which should taste clear to the throat, etc etc.

and so we went on to catch a movie, Because I Said So.
hilarious i tell you.
i was so thankful i dragged Zach to catch this instead of Shooter.
though i think it's probably another good show, which i feel appeals more to the male lot, no?

hmm, what a day.
but it all didn't end just yet.

feeling all drained already, at 1am, it was one of those days i long for my bed so much.
at 1.30, my girlfriend still hadn't arrive
and so i bade Zach goodnight.
i went upstairs with the intention of going to bed right after a quick shower,
but after that shower,
i ended up in her car, and all drove to Seletar where people and their vehicles gather.
but Lester wasn't too pleased 'bout not havin' his car around for a spin.
then we all went to Mohammed Sultan to have famous bak kut teh.
i could easily have gobbled down 2 bowls of rice cus it was a freakin 4am,
and the last thing i digested was that Prawn Pasta for dinner, 9 hours ago.

i guess we all gobbled our meal, not sure if it's supper or breakfast.
but who would care,
when there was something so mouth-watering like bak kut teh.
slurp slurp slurp.
but when the lady who waited our table yelled,
"Police coming! Those at the back! Drive your cars away!" in mandarin,
i didn't know if my reaction of choking on my rice was right
as Jeffrey was first to run towards that alley and zoom off.

satisfied with that meal,
the six of us realise we didn't have much plans and ended up driving to Geyland to catch a glimpse of such places with Fish Tanks and Police raids that sent certain prostitutes flying.
no kidding.
it was interestingly funny actually.
next, to our amusement but with more digust,
a transvesite (that's what i think 'she' is) jumped up to reveal 'her' undies.
horrendous i know.
we were in the car so yea,
not too scary to witness 'em pouncing on the guys with us.

i guess Kelvin had the intention of getting all of us out of the car,
to have a better view of what's a Fish Tank.
but we two girls would never dream of stepping a foot out of the car.

oh well,
and then Zach fell asleep so soundly at the back of the car when we were heading back home.
i almost couldn't bring myself to wake him up.
cute.
and then i got back home to snuggle up in my warm and comfy bed.
what a long but great day.
thanks ya'll.

i bet it's a whopping long post today cus' it's has eaten over an hour into my bedtime.

bonne nuit!
