before he came over,
he got me a lil' something, an Esprit top.
it was saturday, and
i was famished by the time we got to town,
so we decided to have Swensens,
since it was already a quarter past ten,
and most restaurants were closing.
i often find myself sticking to a particular dish,
say out of ten times, nine i pick Fish & Chips.
you'll say i'm goddam boring.
perhaps i must say so myself.
but to defend myself,
other dishes could turn out disappointing anyway.
the thing about most guys,
is that they eat so
fast & so
furious.and their next target?
other foodstuff on the table.
and that includes my fish & chips.
zach eats most of my chips.
and there's a funny but logical theory behind his strange habit of
eating ALL fries before his burger or anything else.
he says cold and soggy fries are the worst.
i've understood.
he'd always call for fries without salt.
because then they'll have to whip up a new batch of fries,
and we'll have 'em piping hot by then.
hmm,
there was a terrible downpour Sunday afternoon,
and i was so annoyed.
not because it poured so heavily,
but because of all time,
i had to meet zach on the bus he was already on.
and so i paced along the main road with my huge brolly,
since the entire pathway for pedestrians was flooded ankle level.
i was so irritated by all the murky water splashing till my knees,
but was rather fortunate no cars honked at me from behind,
or i'd have signalled my middle finger and throw a rock straight at his bloody window.
anyway, i got up my bus feeling like a drenched duck already,
trying its best to close up the dark blue brolly.
zach came up to help me.
and he gave me a lil' something.

it's like a book, which has chocolate in it.
neat huh.
that was good enough to get rid of all vexation the rain caused me.
