no happy labour day Tuesday, May 1, 2007 8:16 PM
go watch Wild Hogs because it's hilarious enough
to make anyone stop munching on the popcorns
and laugh their lungs out.

school happens to be on Monday, Wednesday and Friday this week.
so there's school tomorrow.
shoot.
if you see En Lai's shirt that reads 'Monday is so boring',
i must tell you something.
i want it.
not only i want a T-shirt that reads 'Monday is so boring',
i want a whole set of 'em from Monday to Sunday.
or maybe i could cut cost by getting one that reads,
'Today is so boring'.

tell me if you see it.

bloody hell.
it's seriously labour day today isn't it?
people aren't cooking for some reason.
they are neither working nor cooking.

we were pacing around amk central,
desperately finding a decent place to rest and eat.
god i hate crowds.
the entire place looks like an ants nest.
with people going around in different directions.

we were thinking of what food we're in for today.
but as evening came,
food places were packed like never before.
even KFC which NEVER becomes full house is, today.

so we thought that we should just find a place that serves food,
be it hawker,
fast food,
whatever.
we just needed water, food, shelter.

we were waiting for seats at Ramen Ten before that,
and of all seats (all were taken)
we were to sit at a bloddy cram & tiny table.
we walked out immediately.

tell me,
what kind of concept is space saving in a restaurant beneficial, when the only manner of talking,
without having others at the next table hear, is to whisper?
man, were we disappointed.

God must have heard our constant complaints then,
and seen my charcoal face,
so he granted us a seat at Banquet food court as we walked by.
i must say the table and chairs were exceptionally sparkling today.
and the chicken rice was particularly good.
perhaps we were just too tired and hungry to be thinkin' if
anything about it was not that nice.

i swear never to come out for dinner at central on Labour Days.
