i've got the ulcers.
mans am i in discomfort.

oh well, i spent the day
reading magazines at home.
let me share with you some articles i read:-

a column about 'Single & happy' in Cleo read...
'Research has shown that single men die younger, commit suicide more frequently, suffer more health problems, and have a duller life than their married counterparts. In contrast, most single women are enjoying life better than their married counterparts. '

then again ladies...
check out Live Alone And Like It by Marjorie Hillis
and you might find sleeping alone at night is one of the
best things that has ever happened to you!

In Women's Weekly, an article 'From Super Woman to Kept Woman'
accounts of attractive, successful & confident
women being mistresses & contented with it.

'Much as they are able to support themselves, buying a private apartment or luxury car can still strain their finances. With a Prince Charming, they can kick back their heels and be provided for.'

so, would u opt for being a mistress?
not bad an idea i must say.
unless u're in such bad luck to get killed or worse, disfigured, by his wife.

Next, i browsed through the previous issue of Brides and...
i long to design my very own gown.
but i definitely spotted a few gowns which were beautiful.

every girl must have planned her own wedding at some point of their lives.
it's pretty amazing & so fantasy-like, isn't it girls?

but the thing is - good rich men are extinct species,
and getting married to a man is getting married to the in-laws.

cheers to the ones getting married!
